Our student interns have the unique opportunity to observe and work in different areas of ministry, all working toward one central mission of helping hurting children and families through Christ-centered ministries.

Our interns gain real world experience, spiritual growth, and exposure to a wide range of ministry areas. Our internship program is founded on the ABCS Core Values:

  • Honor God in all we do.
  • Build relationships through trust and respect.
  • Be a good steward of what we have been given.
  • Do everything with excellence.

Internships can take place during the school semester or summer, or can be customized based on the needs of the student and the ministry. An internship may be paid or unpaid depending on ministry needs, school requirements or the intern’s circumstances.

“This experience will help me so much in the future! I feel like I have a better understanding of the ins and outs of counseling, not just the actual practice, but the paperwork and preparation that is needed. I also feel like I now know that I’d rather work in a setting like ABCS rather than my own personal practice. Their warmth and friendliness immediately made me feel welcome.” — Anne, former ABCS intern
